Steven Curley was twice denied by the home keeper in the opening 20 mins, DUFC keeper Carl Woods was called into action after 25 minutes tipping a low hard shot round the post. On the half hour mark the only goal of the game came whem Matty Gillian received the ball 30yrds from goal and unleashed an unstoppable shot giving the keeper no chance.

The second half saw the home side come at the DUFC defence but found it hard to break down a stuborn force of, Palmer,Gault,Funston,and Humphrys.

The last ten minutes was backs to the wall defending for the DUFC but we were able to hold out to put our name in the hat for round 2.
