The visitors took the lead against the run of play on 12 minutes,a corner was met by the head of Shane Cassidy giving
Gavin Connelly no chance in goal.Steven Curley and Derek Sharpe had chances to level the game, while Iain McGuckian wasted
glorious chance after cutting in from the right wing, Curley was free at the back post but McGuckian took the shot
with the keeper saving well.
Five minutes into the second half Derek Sharpe scored from the spot after McGuckian was pushed inside the area. Minutes
later a blunder by keeper Sam Dennison allowed McGuckian to head the ball over the stranded keeper to put Derrychara
2-1 in front.
